"Red, White and Blue" 

​My third and most recent picture book derives from a song I wrote and recorded in the aftermath of September 11th. It is simple to learn in a 'zipper' format. Only one word changes from verse-to-verse. 

It very patriotic in nature and used at performances for Veteran's Day, Memorial Day and the Fourth of July.

I created sixteen quilts from fabric which were digitally scanned to become the 32 pages of the traditional, hard-back, children's picture book. 

"Red, White and Blue" received the national 'Indie Excellence Award' upon publication.
